Getting Ready for Whitman College in Walla Walla Feb 28, 7 pm Kimball Theater

I will be at Whitman College this weekend! Getting ready right now for my flight. I hope this flight is pretty simple, since for once I’m going to end up in the same time zone. (YAY!!)

Packing is never the same, probably because weather varies so much. Usually I try to pack at least one nice outfit for the reading, some comfy/nice things for meeting students and friends, and some easy stuff for bopping around town. Most of the time I overpack, especially if I think it is either going to be cold or super fancy (or if I know there will be some highish-type femmes around!).:)

Doing a workshop with students on the Friday before, as well. I am going to talk storytelling craft–balancing message with evoking place and character. I am still bopping around the particulars, but I feel it’s going to be a lot of fun!
