DESCRIPTION:INFLUX COLLECTIV welcomes DISSONANCE PRESS and its first publication \n UNDER THE BELLY OF THE BEAST \nFriday\, February 28\, 7:30 pm  \nBeyond Baroque Literary Arts Center  FREE \n  \n“Moving\, searing\, gorgeous—a brash\, dreamy\, and impeccably crafted collection that announces new authors\, a new press\, a new world for books as we know them.” \n—Casey Plett\, author of Little Fish and A Safe Girl to Love \n  \nLOS ANGELES\, CA\, February 28th 2020—LA’s freshest free monthly queer poetry reading series\, Influx Collectiv\, welcomes Dissonance Press to celebrate Dissonance’s groundbreaking first anthology\, Under The Belly of the Beast   The release party will be at Beyond Baroque Literary Arts Center (681 Venice Blvd\, Venice\, California 90291) and will include readings by LA-based award-winning queer poets Ryka Aoki\, Cori Bratby-Rudd\, Féi Hernandez\, Christine Imperial\, and Hank Henderson.  \n  \nDissonance Press fosters modes of writing that creatively stress collaboration\, serialization\, and creation of shared narrative\, as well as overlooked genres\, such as prayer books\, photo albums\, quilts\, cookbooks and letters.
