Hi Everybody!

As we push to our publication date on September 28th, we finally have some dates for our virtual tour. Because of COVID, I won’t be able to do very much live, but I’m looking forward to virtually hanging out with everybody and chatting about Light from Uncommon Stars.

I apologize for being so behind on the website. I’ve been doing a lot of interviews and chatting with people who have been incredibly supportive of this book. I’m overwhelmed, to be honest. I just finished an interview with the lovely folks at The Quiet Pond…and I was just feeling so grateful, not only to them but you everyone who’s asked me to share with their audiences. I’m going to talk more about them in the next few days, because I’m really so grateful.

Again, I’m sorry. It’s been more than simple overwork–I’ve been stunned. This entire experience has been like a dream to me, and sometimes I am sure that I’m going to wake up and none of this is really happening, and the only thing greeting me is my electric bill and yet another rejection slip from the Blankety Blank Review.

For example, there has been a pre-order deal with Macmillan, where they’re giving away these fantastic amazing super cool enamel pins. All you need to do is pre-order the book and hit this link, and you are good to go. They’re really beautiful pins!

We just don’t do this sort of thing in small press land. In any case, I am so darn grateful. And I don’t think I’ve said that enough to all of you. You’re amazing. Thank you. More to come.
